I spent three days this week with Philip Bloom, Vincent Laforet, Tom Guilmette and others in Austin at the Masters in Motion seminar. I will tell you a bit more later about the excellent MIM. We spent some quality time with the Red Epic and the Phantom Flex, and lots of other great gear. The Phantom Flex will shoot 2570 fps at 1920 x 1080 (HD) resolution. When played back that is super slow motion. For a fun film showing lots of cool slow motion check out Tom Guilmette’s “Locked in a Las Vegas Hotel Room with the Phantom Flex.”

I noticed last night that the App Store icon in my dock was lit up with an update. I have Snow Leopard and leave the App Store parked in my Dock for this very reason, to notify me when updates are available.
