My name is Christopher R. Swainhart. I do update this page from time to time, not necessarily at the top nor the bottom. Why is this site so minimalistic? What do you expect from a MINI driver? Why don't I put up a real web site here, you might ask. Well, I do this kind of work professionally and the last thing I want to do is do it for a hobby. And I don't have that much to say about myself. But I do have a new project in which I am heavily involved which is very interesting. You should check out my work at The National Institute of Prevarication. When my brother Tim heard about the Institute hiring me he said, "A last a position for which you are well qualified." I suppose that was meant to be some sort of slander regarding my habit of telling tall tales.

My latest kick has been DSLR film making. I produced a couple of commercials for Reser Bicycle in Newport. You can view them on my YouTube Channel. You may also be interested in the videos I did for the Institute's YouTube Channel. I am a public speaker and have presented my videos on the US Flag and Constitution for the Cincinnati Art Museum, Veterans groups, and others. As a service to Veterans I have put up a web site VFWStories.org.

I am guessing you may know me because of my musical connections. If so you will be interested in the Rob Stefanussen channel on YouTube. He is a great friend of ours. Rob is a pioneer in building digital organs from scratch using the Macintosh, keyboard parts and software. Here is one of my favorite videos of his:

Here is a link to one of my favorite causes, the Southern Cross Group. WWII had an unexpected consequence of creating over 15,000 war brides from Australia. Many, if not most, emigrated to the countries of the servicemen they married. It is estimated that as many as 45,000 children of these Australian war brides are spread all over the globe.

These children were entitled to Australian citizenship by descent. Being the son of one beautiful Aussie I qualified. But due to inequities in Australian citizenship law I like so many others could not claim it. In 2007 the Citizenship Reform Act was passed which opened the doors to folks just like me. Thanks to the SCG who helped me navigate the complicated legal matters. Now I am a dinky die Aussie as well as a Yank. Bonzer, mate!

Check out the Deli 720 at the office building at 720 E. Pete Rose Way. Fabulous food, great prices, and biker friendly. You might want to bring your bike inside, though.
