On my recent trip to Australia I had to deal with lighting issues. Traveling light I brought 2 Lowel Pro-lights and a Lowel Tota-lite with me. I used voltage convertors so I could run them, and left my camera on 60 hz at 30 fps. Normally that worked fine except for one interview.

I headed down under for Perth last week and hit a bit of a rough patch. I have discovered that not everything goes your way. After my 6 hour flight from Cincinnati I boarded my Sidney flight at LAX. I was feeling a bit queasy, which was unusual for me. I was soon to discover that I wouldn’t need my iPad, my MacBook, or anything that I brought on board to keep busy during the 15 hour flight.
